If you have a leg injury then please wear shorts and if it’s a back injury please wear clothing that allows full access to your back.

No. However you’re insurer may require a GP referral before authorising treatment they will cover.

It depends on your injury. 30% of patients require only one session. 90% require fewer than 10. Simple back pain typically resolves after 2-3 sessions. Major knee surgery can require over 20 sessions

No, however we can refer directly for MRI scans and x-rays if required.

Cash, bank transfer, and all cards, American Express included.

It depends on the insurer. If they are Axa health or Cigna we invoice them directly. With some other insurers you will need to pay on the day and we will provide you with an invoice to claim re-imbursement.

We have a 24hr cancellation policy. If you do not arrive for your appointment, the full fee is charged.

I can’t recommend Josh enough at Physio Athletic. He's very knowledgeable, professional and clearly skilled. He’s helped me with my left arm, providing right exercises to improve my condition without affecting my active lifestyle. Josh also gave me practical advice to support my performance in yoga, calisthenics, and aerials... On top of that, he’s friendly, empathetic, and always up for a good chat, which makes a real difference. You feel heard, supported, relaxed and confident you’re in good hands. Highly recommend!

I can’t thank Josh enough for the help he’s given me with my knees. When squats became too painful, he quickly pinpointed exactly what was wrong and set me up with targeted rehab exercises that have made a huge difference. He also took the time to give me advice and plyometric exercises when I mentioned wanting to get back into running, which I really appreciated. Josh is knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely cares about his clients. I definitely recommend!

I was recommended by my consultant to visit Josh for physio. Specifically for my shoulder. I have spent over 10 sessions with another physio/company who took a slow and softer approach to recovery. As an active individual, this was frustrating. I have spent two sessions with Josh who identified high levels of trap involvement and in my lats which were compensating. Josh spent time to visually assess my posture, assess how I make lateral movements and assess shoulder pressing. From this he identified a number of areas which could be impacting shoulder mobility. He gave me a number of movements to work on and also intensely worked on the shoulder/back. I have immediately found less pain during extension/shoulder rotation. I would highly recommend.

I highly recommend Josh for physiotherapy! He helped correct my posture and treated my lower back pain effectively.
